Textino Privacy Policy

Who we are

Textino is published by Allion LLC, a company registered in the United States. For anything in this policy, write to ehsan@allionapp.com.

What we process

• Message data — the sender or recipient number, the contact name if you grant Contacts access, the message text, one-time codes detected inside messages, picture-message attachments, and call events such as the caller number and time. Purpose: delivering them to the devices you have connected. This is the core function of the app.
• Account and device data — a random account identifier, the device labels you choose, pairing and invitation codes, push notification tokens, and your plan status. Purpose: keeping your devices connected and applying your plan.
• Settings you create — filters, rules, webhooks, API keys and invitations. Purpose: the features you configure yourself.
• Purchase data — the activation code you redeemed and the plan status it unlocks. This version of Textino has no in-app purchases, so no payment or subscription data is collected at all. We never see card details.

We do not collect precise location or advertising identifiers, we do not sell data, and we show no advertising. Textino contains no third-party analytics or tracking software.

Permissions on the source phone

• SMS and MMS — to capture incoming messages and to send the replies you write on another device.
• Phone and call log — to alert you to incoming and missed calls and to identify the caller.
• Contacts — optional, so names are shown instead of bare numbers. Contact data is used only for that display.
• Notifications — a permanent notification is shown the whole time sync is active, so it can never run hidden.
• Camera — on connected devices only, and only to scan the pairing QR code.

Each of these is requested on the source phone, by the person holding it, after a disclosure screen that explains what the permission is for. There is no remote or silent installation path.

How your data is protected

• Every transfer uses HTTPS.
• Message content is encrypted at rest on our servers.
• Optional end-to-end encryption: when you turn it on, message text is encrypted on your phone with a key that never leaves your own devices, so our servers cannot read it. Translation and summaries are unavailable while it is on, because there is nothing readable for them to work with.
• Connecting a device requires a pairing code displayed on the source phone itself, or an invitation you create.

Where data is processed

Textino runs on Cloudflare's global network, so your data may be processed in whichever country the nearest edge location sits in, including the United States. Where that network is unreliable we also publish a second address that simply forwards requests to the same servers and passes the answer back. It keeps no database and stores nothing of its own, so there is only ever one copy of your data.

Keeping and deleting data

Free accounts keep seven days of history; paid plans keep history until you delete it. From the app's settings you can remove a single device, disconnect a connected viewer, or delete the entire account with all of its data. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you would rather we did it, email ehsan@allionapp.com with your account identifier from the app's settings screen, and we will complete it within 30 days.

Others involved

• Cloudflare — hosting and storage, and the optional translation and summary features, which run inside Cloudflare's own infrastructure.
• Apple and Google — app distribution only. No subscription or payment processor is used in this version, because there is nothing to buy inside the app.
• Apple, Google, and your browser's push service — delivering notifications. A notification may contain the sender and a short preview; you can turn notifications off.
• Webhooks you configure — data goes only to endpoints you add yourself, and only while you leave them enabled.

Children

Textino is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher age that applies where you live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA — you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Most of this is available directly in the app; for the rest, email us and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Updates are posted on this page, and anything material is announced inside the app before it takes effect.
