Textino Terms of Use

What Textino does

Textino transfers the text messages and call alerts of a phone you control to other devices you control, and sends replies from that phone. It depends on your mobile network and on the source phone being switched on and connected. We cannot guarantee that any individual message is delivered, and Textino should not be relied upon for emergencies.

How you may use it

You may install the source-phone role only on a phone that you own or are otherwise authorised to use. You are responsible for the laws of your own country, several of which make it an offence to intercept another person's communications.

You may not use Textino to monitor another person without their knowledge, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to distribute fraudulent or misleading content, to break the terms of your mobile carrier, or to work around the connected-device limits of your plan. We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Your account

An account is identified by a random identifier and connected to your devices with a pairing code shown on the source phone. Anyone holding a valid pairing code or invitation can read the account's messages, so treat those codes like a password. You are responsible for what happens on devices you have connected.

Plans, subscriptions and activation codes

Textino is free to use with the limits described on the product page. This version sells nothing inside the app: there are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Extra features are unlocked only with an activation code, as described below. If subscriptions are introduced in a future version, these terms will be updated before they go on sale.

Some plans can also be activated with a one-time activation code. A code applies to a single account, adds a fixed period of time to it, and cannot be transferred or refunded once redeemed. If a code was obtained fraudulently we may cancel it.

Because nothing is sold inside the app, there is no store purchase to refund. If you bought an activation code from us and it did not work, email ehsan@allionapp.com and we will replace it or refund it.

Your content

Your messages remain yours. We process them only to provide the service described in the privacy policy, and we claim no rights over them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Textino running, but it is provided without a guaranteed level of service. Features may change, and a feature may be discontinued; where a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will say so in the app beforehand.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account from the app's settings, which removes your data immediately. We may end this agreement if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service, in which case unused paid time will be refunded on a pro-rata basis where the law requires it.

Disclaimers and liability

Textino is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allion LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost or delayed messages, or for anything arising from a device you connected. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here removes the consumer rights you have where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
